Hao Wu, a blogger and documentary filmmaker pushing for democracy in China, has been held by Chinese authorities for a month. It's believed that he was detained after meeting with members of a house church in connection with a film he was producing. (In China, only a few state-subservient churches are recognized by the government. Otherwise, Christians meet in secret in thousands of house churches, which are growing at an amazing rate.)
